There is a convenient round-trip option available for the same day that costs about the same as a one-way ticket. By taking the Frecciarossa, you will save both time and money, as the journey takes only 1 hour 10 minutes (instead of about 3 hours driving each way).
We recommend you to plan your arrival at Napoli Centrale train station not later than 9:00 am, and for your return, we suggest booking the train from Naples at 6:00 pm.

Our day begins with a visit to Pompeii, the ancient Roman city buried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. You will walk along its preserved streets, admire villas, temples, the Forum, and the theaters, gaining a unique insight into daily life two thousand years ago. (Upon request, a licensed guide can be arranged for a more in-depth visit).

After exploring Pompeii, we will drive along the breathtaking Amalfi Coast until reaching Positano, the “pearl” of the coast. Famous for its pastel-colored houses overlooking the sea, narrow streets filled with boutiques, and its beautiful beach, Positano is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing lunch in a traditional local Restaurant where you can taste authentic food and some shopping.
You will have free time to stroll around, take pictures, and soak in the unforgettable atmosphere.
At the end of the day, we will bring you back comfortably to Napoli Centrale train station, in time for your train back to Rome.
