Sorrento – 1 Hour of Free Time
Your day begins with pick-up at 7:30 AM from Naples or Salerno port.
Upon arrival in Sorrento, you’ll enjoy one hour of free time to explore this charming coastal town at your own pace. Stroll along Piazza Tasso, wander through the historical alleys filled with artisan shops, enjoy a coffee with a sea view, or admire the breathtaking coastline from scenic terraces.
Cooking Class at the Gargiulo Family Farm – 10:30 AM Start
At 10:30 AM, your culinary experience begins at a traditional Sorrento farmhouse, where the Gargiulo family has been producing olive oil and regional specialties for generations.
You’ll be welcomed with a refreshing drink before meeting your chef, who will guide you step by step through the preparation of some of Campania’s most iconic dishes.
What you will cook and taste:
🍝 Fresh homemade gnocchi – Learn how to prepare the dough, shape perfect gnocchi, and transform them into the famous Gnocchi alla Sorrentina, with fresh basil, tomato, and melted mozzarella.
🍆 Eggplant Parmigiana – Prepare this beloved classic following the traditional Sorrento-Neapolitan recipe, using seasonal ingredients and authentic Mediterranean flavors.
🍰 Dessert – Enjoy a sweet ending made following local tradition.
Your creations will be served for lunch on a panoramic terrace overlooking Mount Vesuvius, paired with a glass of DOC Campania wine, soft drinks, water, limoncello, and coffee.
Olive Oil Tasting – 20 Flavors
This experience also includes a tasting of 20 different types of olive oil, including classic extra-virgin and delicious infused varieties such as lemon, orange, basil, chili, garlic, onion, and more, served with homemade bread.

• The cooking class is not a private experience. If other participants have booked for the same time slot, the lesson will be shared, with a maximum of approximately 12 people total.
• Availability depends on reservations. The class may not be available on certain dates based on existing bookings.
• The cooking class fee (€120 per person) is not included and must be paid directly at the Gargiulo farmhouse.
End of Tour
After this authentic gastronomic experience, your driver will comfortably take you back to your port—Naples or Salerno —arriving by 4:00 PM, perfectly timed for all cruise schedules.
