Discover how to cook like a true Italian with the Sorrento Cooking Class at Gargiulo Farm — a hands-on culinary experience deeply rooted in the traditions of the Sorrento Peninsula. Together with an expert local chef, you’ll explore the ancient recipes of Campania and learn to prepare some of the region’s most iconic dishes.
Your lesson begins with the art of making fresh pasta, following techniques passed down through generations. From the dough to shaping, you’ll learn how to create soft and perfect gnocchi — the stars of the beloved Gnocchi alla Sorrentina, perfumed with basil and enriched by melted mozzarella.
Next, you’ll prepare another timeless classic: Eggplant Parmigiana, crafted according to the traditional Sorrento–Neapolitan recipe, using fresh, genuine Mediterranean ingredients that enhance its depth of flavor.
After the cooking class, enjoy the unforgettable moment of tasting your own creations. Lunch will be served on a panoramic terrace overlooking Mount Vesuvius, accompanied by a glass of DOC wine from the farm’s “Campania Selection” — a true celebration of local cuisine.
