Private Day Tours
A journey through ancient cities and volcanic landscapes, ending with the unforgettable taste of Vesuvius-grown wines.
Embark on an unforgettable 8-hour journey through the ancient Roman world and the volcanic landscapes of Mount Vesuvius. This private tour, available from Sorrento or Naples hotels and ports, is perfect for travelers who want to explore two of Italy’s most extraordinary archaeological sites with the comfort of a professional English-speaking driver.

If you would like to add a licensed guide in Pompeii, please select this option in the box that appears during the booking process.
The cost is €140 per site, to be paid in cash directly to the guide at the end of the visit.

The cost is an additional €140 to be paid in Cash (total €280 for both Pompeii and Herculaneum).
Tickets for Herculaneum can be purchased directly through to the site.
The final part of your day takes you to a traditional winery on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius, overlooking Capri, Sorrento, and the Bay of Naples. Enjoy a leisurely lunch featuring local specialties—bruschetta, artisanal salami and cheeses, homemade bread with extra-virgin olive oil, pasta with cherry tomatoes and basil, and the classic Neapolitan “Pastiera.”
Your meal is paired with a tasting of four Vesuvius wines, a sparkling wine, and a local liqueur such as apricot distillate or grappa.
